Are you involved in the startup ecosystem?

After more than two decades in the field of Human Resources, I recently participated in the EUDIS hackathon as an HR mentor. I found the whole experience very stimulating and rewarding. Based on my experience, I want to offer my free people management mentoring to other EU-based startups.

Are you aware of an organization that is already too large for the founder to keep track of all people functions, but not yet large enough to be able to afford the luxury of dedicated HR staff? Growing organizations often find themselves in a tough middle ground—too complex for ad hoc people decisions, but not yet in a place to afford a full-time HR hire. Or would you like your organizations to discuss these issues before they become problems?

My philosophy is to work together with the founders to build practical and actionable solutions to their problems, long before they hire their first HR person. Don’t expect stale generic advice – that’s what the big consultancies are for. I bring a crisp, clear and direct perspective to help them build a more capable team, have fewer people problemsand rely on HR practices that can grow with the organization.

I have spent 20 years in the people sector across several continents and industries. The last ten years working for various EU bodies in the fields of learning & development, project management, recruitment and cultural transformation. I have a degree in HR Management and Industrial Psychology from Baruch College, City University of New York and a certificate from Harvard University. I am also a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).

I am at a point in my career where I can afford the luxury of providing consulting free of charge for a small number of select clients. If one of your startups would like to benefit from decades of global HR experience, please contact me and let’s find out how I can offer you my support on a pro-bono basis
